LG has revealed new information about its 2021 lineup of OLED devices. This year, OLED TVs will range between $1,300 and $6,000, depending on the specific product line and screen size. The Tv has new additional features.
The LG G1 version might get brighter, but the C1 version certainly comes bigger. The LG has an 83-inch size for $5,999. Both the G1 and C1 include latest processor, which includes AI scene detection to optimize the picture for whatever you’re watching. LG also added a new ability to automatically level out the audio volume when switching between content sources and streaming apps.
All 2021 LG OLED TVs incorporate webOS 6.0, the latest version of LG’s smart TV platform featuring built-in Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and offering access to popular streaming apps as well as Channels, the company’s free premium content streaming service. The company is in talks with companies from the likes of Volkswagen and Vietnam’s Vingroup JSC for potentially selling off their money-losing smartphone division, but these talks have, so far, seem to have failed. If the company doesn’t find any buyer it will shut down the sale.
