CLEAR Allows Vaccinated Travelers with its New App

The new app deployed by CLEAR expands the digital health pass system by independently verifying the COVID-19 test results of individuals along with their vaccination status allowing travelers an entry into Hawaii without the need to undergo quarantine.

The state has begun its initiatives to collaborate with private companies enabling them to offer a digital health pass system making it easier, and convenient for travelers to abide with the COVID-19 rules, and restrictions, all the while maintaining their heath information privacy. The private technology company CLEAR housed in Texas, had launched a pilot program in the beginning of this year associated with the company’s digital health pass system across two flights travelling from Los Angeles reaching at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

The mobile app independently confirms the negative COVID-19 test results coupled with vaccination records so that individual can detour the obligatory 10-day quarantine period. On July 09, CLEAR officially expanded its Health Pass Technology easing the COVID-19 test screening as well as vaccine verification targeting all Hawaii-bound travelers. This system will allow passengers above 18 years of age from any of the United States mainland airport traveling via any airline to use the CLEAR Health Pass technology adhering to the Hawaii Safe Travels testing, and vaccine criteria checked during arrival at all airports in Hawaii.

The mobile app is offered to the public for free pf cost eliminating the need to utilize any third part app for bypassing the quarantine mandate. The technology is also bound to add an additional security layer protecting the user’s private health information.
